Studio B
Studio B is the newest addition to the facilities at Rome Recording. Though it is smaller than Studio A, it has the comforts and acoustic treatment you’d expect from Rome Recording. The room is designed to meet the needs of producers, singer-songwriters, rappers, and many others whose projects do not require the large live room and full-scale tracking capabilities of Studio A. Studio B combines the affordability of a project or home studio with the professional knowledge of Rome's staff. If you are technically inclined yourself, you can also book Studio B without an engineer at even lower rates.
Studio B features a Pro Tools M-Box2 system loaded with many of the same plug-ins found in Studio A, in addition to numerous others. Studio B also features a wide-array of software synthesizers including Propellerhead Reason and the Native Instruments Komplete Bundle. Rome also has 239 Reason refills (almost 17 GB!) and 45 sound packages that contain over 58,000 wave samples and loops (over 14 GB!). These computer-based instruments enable producers and composers to quickly put together song ideas, lay down beats for rappers, flesh out the instrumentation of songs recorded in Studio A, etc. Studio B can also accommodate the recording of vocalists and single instruments, which allows for overdubbing of tracks over pre-recorded or sequenced material. Projects started in Studio B can be transferred to Studio A for mixing and mastering. This enables artists to harness the full power of our Pro Tools HD system while lowering their final cost, one of many ways that Rome can help you sound your best for less.
